Does epson runsense work with strava?

We got our son an Epson GPS watch for Christmas to track runs with. Hubby and I have Garmin watches and we've recently started using Strava with them. So today our son has (with our permission) signed up to strava too.  Epson's website says it is compatible with Strava, but I can't find anything saying how to link the two, and I can find a variety of articles saying it's not compatible, but there's a clear press release on Epson's website from 2015 saying it is now compatible. Anyone know if it is and how to do it?
