What: 11k largely off road in 60:39. Off road was very firm despite lots of rain. Grey and cold when I set off: soon found I was over-dressed when the sun came out not long afterwards. Now grey again, which doesn't matter as I shall be glued to the Man City v Leicester match.
Why: the week's MLR, and a little faster than usual, by design. 10k in exactly 55.

Underpar parkrun from me today, two reasons, still have the after effects of the cold plus think i might have over extended something behind my knee on my last fall and didnt feel too comfortable pushing hard. 20:55 for 34th at Swindon

why - speed work. Slight glute niggle, but held up ok. 400s in 74-78 so inside 80s (5m20 mile pace)
