Wednesday 19th July 2017 - I've gone through life white-knuckled

Morning.

Lyrics - I've gone through life white-knuckled

Sounds like a packed weekend OH - not surprised you want to rest up a little in anticipation.

Enjoy the camping trip RFJ.

Not as nice a start to the day here, grey, breezy and with a weather warning for possible heavy rain - but still forecast to reach 26C - the weather goes downhill from here though so best to make the most.

What:           whatever the legs feel like after I've walked Grace
Why:            no work
Last hard:    not overdoing it
Last rest:     15/7

Yesterday's lyrics - A Horse With No Name by America.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Morning!

    Lyrics: no

What: gym work (bike/cross trainer/rowing machine etc)

Why: did a session yesterday and will gradually build up. Managed quite well, even the bike.

Plus other cross training in the garden etc. Forecast not good!

Women's cricket was particularly exciting yesterday; did you catch it, Emz?
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Morning

What: a very humid 5 km at 6.  Will do 8 km at lunch
Why: I am sticking to my plan (I never manage, but at least I am trying!)
Last hard: this morning, lunch time will be interesting and very very slow
Lyrics: no but kicking myself for yesterday's!

Have fun camping RFJ, hope the weather holds
Ale what is the status of your calf now?  I'm getting the bench injuries mixed up!

LMH of course, the weekend we have visitors and want to bbq the weather will go downhill.  At least we're going to give our Danish and Australian visitors a taste of real England...fish & chips, gin tasting, rainy bbq and cricket...

    Hiya

    What - easy lunchtime miles
why - long session yesterday: run from station to track, mile easy, 4x1800s (av 6:55 m/m) with 200 recovs, c/d, run back to station. Heavens then opened, and ran the 0.75mile back to the house in Noahesque weather. Roads in the village centre under around 9 inches of water (comfortably over kerb height)
    12.75 miles all in.
    last rest - 4/7
    last hard - yesterday
    next race - Yateley 10k 2/8

Why the double emzap? Jeg elsker Danmark.

No rain here last night Dustin but I as soaked at the end of my run this morning when we had a bit of a cloudburst. Dry again for now.

Have you joined a gym Alehouse? I'm still debating it (that's over a year now then) as my physio says I should be doing pilates at least and then need to do some strength work on the shoulder (though she's said that can wait until after Robin Hood in case it stops me running).

Great to see some progress even if it's less than you'd like Poppy.

Sounds like a packed day Wabo.

You seem to be quite busy work wise OH.

Hope you're not keeping that bench warm too much longer SC.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

LMH: because I'm a life member of the uni Athletic Union I can use the fitness suite whenever. Last time I used it was post Achilles op, and before that post shoulder op. As you can tell, I'm not a great fan! Needs must. No swimming pool, which suits me.
