Monday 23rd October 2017 - You're looking for a way out, I can feel it

Morning.

Lyrics - You're looking for a way out, I can feel it

Glad you enjoyed GSR Poppy and RFJ and that Miss RFJ and T enjoyed their first race.

That was his aim when we first started running together Dustin, he thought maybe 2019 but I think I've convinced him he can run a spring one next year and hopefully get his GFA as he'd love to run London.

ITU distances Alehouse - O2 and O3.

I'm not enjoying these dark mornings - not enough time to run as far as I'd like by the time I've waited for it to get light and walked Grace!

What:           short and easy
Why:            time constraints
Last hard:    seeing how FiL's Alzheimer's has progressed
Last rest:     15/10

Yesterday's lyrics - I Have Seen The Rain by Pink.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Morning all,
LmH - sorry to hear about FiL

What - easy recovery miles, giving blood then seeing QoP
Why - mileage weekend, because I do, because I need it
    last rest - 11/9
last hard - outright was Tuesday, but three 10+ mile days (off road) have not helped the tired legs

(((lmh))) Well done RFJs, WP and T. 400, that's dedication RFJ. I never looked at parkrun prediagnosis but it's brought me back to running. The only time I ever do that distance is at pr but the event is so wonderfully sociable. Busy day Dustin. Great to see OS at the weekend and discover he'svery near to Bushy. Tempting but not sure I want a pr with a thousand others! Emz, safe travels.
    What: easy 6ish
    Why: Base training
Last hard: Running evenly Saturday as HRM did not pair so really should not have run!!!
    Last Rest: Yesterday
    Lyrics: Yes

SC sorry to hear you had issues Saturday.glad today went well.

Rfj glad you had a good race and miss rfj enjoyed.

I hate mass participation races but loved the banter with runners, the course and spectators it made it a great day. The flattest race I have run!!

    What 4 mile recovery run
    Why because I can
Last hard keeping to slow pace yesterday.

Back home tomorrow night it all goes so quickly:-( but at least I will sleep well in my own bed.
    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.

    Afternoon!
Real game was Swansea losing to Leicester, Wabo. And well done on the parkrun...and take this week very easy!

Well done team WP and team RFJ.

Sitting around the pool in pleasant sunshine. 24 degrees is just right!

What: 2k run in 4 parts with the longest about 700.

Why: running day. Will be difficult to judge the impact on the Achilles as have also walked another 12k with much of it up and down hill on cobbles. Never the best for the Achilles.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

I read something on Facebook implying that these forums were over, but clearly not!  Has anything changed or been proposed?
    What:  Short Yasso session
Why:  Track wasn't available long enough for a full session

Good to see some familiar names still on here!

Good to see you 40, and I for one would be most disappointed if the forums were to finish.
