Car is in for a service and MOT today - should be ok but you can never be sure so a slightly anxious and inconvenienced day awaits.

What:             run back from taking the car to the garage
Why:              they couldn't collect it
Last hard:      losing the holiday weight

    what - lunchtime run
    why - out tonight so no coaching.
    last rest - 11/9
    last hard - yesterday in the end : 6 easy lunchtime, then coached 5k group with 200s, but felt compelled to join in (prob at 75%). Stupid decision.

    I don't understand that kind of compulsion with speed work Dustin but I'm sure it will do you good:-)

    How is your achilles feeling Alehouse? Any ill effects from all the walking/cobbles etc?

    Why: hand op (scheduled - I had a cyst in my joint that needed removing)
    Last hard: lying still for nearly 2 hours while the docs struggled to open the joint without tendon or nerve damage :#

    re Achilles, was a bit tender this morning but I do feel progress is being made, albeit it very slowly. Consultant next Thursday evening.
