    Morning! Cold and wet here.

    Go Wabo

    What: 5k! Without stopping!

Why: decided it was time for a proper test on the Achilles after my chat with doctor friend yesterday. The real test of course will be in the morning when I see what level of pain there is. Main issue today was breathing rather than the Achilles even though I kept it nice and easy and progressive. Around 27:15 for South Manchester parkrun: was much easier in company!

Now to get changed and don waterproofs etc as am on the finishing funnel at the uni relays.

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Morning

Worcester Pitchcroft parkrun completed.  Was meant to be at Arrow Valley, but the bus never showed so went to train station and got train to Worcester instead. All good on way there, but train goes from another station at around 10. Legged it and got there with 2 min to spare!

Parkrun in 25:30 ish.  Was hard. Legs not recovered from marathon yet.

    Go Wabo go go.

    Have a nice Indian lmh.

    Fingers crossed for achillies Ale

    Have a good day all

    Fingers crossed Alehouse.

I'm not surprised your legs haven't recovered yet emzap - give it a couple more weeks.

You've been quiet OH - busy working? Is it a 'non race' 5k or a fledgling parkrun?

20 miles with P this morning - the man is a natural!
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

Wabo: hope it's going well for you today

LMH: must be nice to have company on long runs. I enjoyed it when mr chick came with me on the bike. Also meant I didn't have to carry any water :)

Nice parkrunning, all. Hope you got away with yours, ale.

    What: condemned to the sofa
Why: chesty cough meant asthma flared up
    Last hard: breathing
    Last rest: today :(
    Lyrics: yes

Afternoon! And a decidedly wet one: got wet at the parkrun, went home and changed into waterproofs, set out the relay course and then was on the finish recording positions...and got wetter and wetter. Nearly 800 running meant it was a busy afternoon.

Come on Wabo: last couple of miles!

    Get well Chick!

And well done  and his running partner!

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Not nice chicksta. Hope it soon passes. I don't take water on 20 mile runs:-) It is nice to have the company some times though it does mean that I'm out for longer than I wold be on my own, though I don't think it will be too long before P's pace catches up with mine if he keeps going as he is.

    Don't overdo it Dustin.

Good of to volunteer Alehouse, no rain here as yet though it's threatening now. Could be a wet walk to the Indian. Hope the parkrun and then so much time on your feet isn't going to prove too much for your achilles.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
