    What: fitness suite this evening for exercise bike, stretches and single leg presses

    Why: trying to do what I can. Feel rubbish but have come to work: may as well earn some money for feeling rubbish rather than laze around at home!

    What: a mile and core later
    Why: rushed off my feet at work and have a business trip the rest of this week (and holiday next as I still have 2.5 weeks holiday to use before the end of the year).
    Last hard: club last night, managed 3 x 800 with 200 recovery out of the 4.  Legs fine this morning

    Heard last night that we have to complete on our house by 29th November.  First we heard of this deadline was yesterday...not sure if it may all now fall through but I hope not as that would be the 3rd house we've lost.

    I agree Alehouse - may as well get paid to feel miserable as do it at home:-)

    We were fortunate and the forecast heavy rain has gone back to this afternoon Poppy. Hope it wasn't too cold with it.

    Should be doable unless there are any issues emzap - and in reality is your vendor really going to pull out, go back on the market and start again if you can't complete by then? Sounds as though it may be a bit of cage rattling to me. Where are you off to this time?

    Horrid weather here. Close to freezing but completely foggy. My office is on the 19th floor and we see absolutely zilch out there. Thought for a moment this morning I could run outside but no. Freezing fog and asthma don't match. Had a good gym sesh though.

    What: 7k on the treadie plus 30 mins core
    Why: too horrid to run outside
    Last hard: getting movement back into that finger. The joint is still about twice its normal size...

    6 miles for me this morning it was cold but I was snug in my merino LS top and rain jacket.

    Enjoy the race, wabo. I had a scheduled op on my finger to remove a bone tumour (benign as pathology found out). Basically they cut the finger joint open, removed it and sewed everything back together. Stitches are now out :)

    Nil today other than a walk with Els. Off to cinema shortly.
    Flight to Aberdeen tomorow. Head off via Heathrow, Shanghai and Auckland Thursday morning to arrive Nelson NZ Friday evening ((UK time).
    Should get back on 7 December, 2 days short of the big "0"
