Back to work today followed by the dentist. Feeling a bit sorry for myself. Still not sleeping due to cough/pulled muscle and peak flow no better. No chance of a stress relieving run. On the plus side this means I don't have to go out and run in the wind and rain this morning, though Grace and I might want to wear weight belts on our walk:-) My legs are also getting a break so hopefully niggly knee will feel better when I can get back to it.

What: 30 mins of kettlebells done at lunchtime; Day 2 of my 30 day yoga challenge planned for tonight.
Why: strictly no running the day after a longish run

What: 5.2 miles in 30 minutes
Why: progressive run on anti-g treadmill (@ 90%). Hard work! And there was not the slightest breeze.
Chick: was looking at an old training diary earlier...noticed 20 miles a.m/track session (8 x 300) pm on Sunday; 4 miles easy plus a weight session plus 8 progressive on Monday. No wonder I was often injured, usually with knee problems! And as a student obviously had the time!
Unfortunately the dentist has decided that the best thing to do is to leave my tooth until such a time as it is causing pain when I will need to get an emergency appointment with him have antibiotics or the abscess drained as appropriate - and then be referred to a specialist for an extraction <<sigh>>
Hope tomorrow isn't too much of a shock to the system Wabo.

lunchtime run for me round the local park with increasing 600m reps 3x3 of slow, medium and hard (need to shift some fat and find some speed)
