I'm opting for a mile most mornings lately as it keeps the streak alive in case I can't get out later so this week has been a series of double runs (all short)

Ale: I got the K2 info from my osteo when I got my stress fractures in 2016. My GP is pretty useless when it comes to these things... Hope your GP is better.
LMH: you're right about longer runs and treadmills not going together. I took the plunge and braved the cold this morning. Drove to the gym and ran from there so I had the sauna to warm up afterwards and boy, did I need that! Temp was -8 this morning. But it was one of the very rare days with almost no discernible wind so I had to make the most of it.
