Best weights and exercises for running?
Looking for advice on the best exercises and weights to do for to aid in running.
I am a bit of a plodder who needs to loose a few lbs and want to firm up and strengthen at the same time.
Are you a member of a gym? If so they will be able to help you. It all depends which areas you want to work on. For example of you want to improve your leg strength then squats and lunges are good combined with hill reps. Ankles can be improved on a wobble board, or swimming legs only. Core work could mean planks and bridges.
