Sunday 28th February 2021 Let me see what spring is like, On Jupiter and Mars

Morning!

Lyrics: Let me see what spring is like
On Jupiter and Mars

Yesterday's were The Whole of the Moon, The Waterboys.

What: hoping for a short walk

Why: hoping for a better day

Although I, like everyone else, would like a holiday I definitely won't be making plans: far too high a chance of disappointment.

The moon is supposed to be at its fullest just after 8 this morning.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Our Agricultural Show has already been cancelled for August!

Have 2 weeks booked in Durness for May but highly unlikely we'll make that.

    More insulation board fitting
Running and swimming begin again tomorrow.

Nice day again here - can cut boards in garden.

    Morning again!

End of month figures: two runs on 1st and 2nd and just under 15k completed. Not like me at all!

August cancellation: seems a bit soon to be making a decision, OH!

    No sun here 😔

Is your polar bear challenge done, OH?

Glad the tooth excavation site is ok, wabo

Are you feeling better today, ale?

I'm still resting my foot. I think it's getting better but haven't really put it to the test for fear of aggravating things. Hopefully it'll be good enough for a few beach walks on La Palma next week. If we go, that is. As numbers are rising again new restrictions may be announced on Wednesday so we're trying to keep a lid on our enthusiasm 😕

Thanks for asking, Chick, but feel just as bad! Conversation with GP tomorrow I hope.

    Yes, a new theme!

Wabo is currently happier than I am: football-wise!

Oh dear Ale, it's dragging on now. Did you get out at all?
Chick, hope you are able to go but nothing is very certain at the moment!
Wabo, good that tooth extraction went well, I've been referred for one but waiting since before first lockdown, guess they are not seeing many folk.
Lovely sunny morning but dulled over now. Slow and creaky 25k though did improve as run went on. Up hill and across trail including the v boggy bit. Surprisingly only saw 2 other runners on a lovely day. Will be glad of a v easy day tomorrow as Feb challenge complete....just!
Day4/10 of no socialising. At least weather is good.

Well done on the challenge, Els!
Walked as far as my 97 year old neighbour across the road. She's finding things tough at present. And that journey was enough for me! Three weeks today since my Covid jab and perhaps by coincidence, three weeks today since I started feeling unwell.
