Saturday 10th April - so you wanna know me now

So you wanna know me now
How I've been
You can't help someone recover

Song popped in my head
Yesterday's were up town top ranking by Althea and Donna

Poor old Queen Liz she must be lost

What maybe 10 mile xctry race at 2
Why it's on but I'm seeing how I feel
Last hard yesterday
Last rest 31/12
Have a good day all

    Morning!

    Lyrics: no

Was searching around for some snow lyrics! Heavy snow and sleet here, probably sent from Orkney!

Ten miles xc sounds an adventure, Wabo!

    What: something short plus stretches

Why: didn't do the latter yesterday.

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

I know alehouse and if I do it it will be with a friend,  she's happy to do it anyway whether I do it or not thankfully. I should do
    Enjoy what you do today.
    No snow here

Good luck with the 10 miler Wabo.! Haven't worked out my pubs yet, bears and little horses feature twice, they aren't so imaginitive around here.

You have a lot of pubs nearby Ale!

Bet you are looking forward to your pub visit on Monday Dustin.

No snow/sleet here at the moment, expecting some for Monday/Tuesday.

    What: 4 @LT + WU/CD d&d. More destructive gardening this pm.
    Why: this week's speed
Last hard: the 4, but a good hard. Wasn't expecting much due to the heavier mileage but middle of the pace range.
    Last rest: 30.03.2021

    Lyrics: no

Ale - plenty of pubs in your area but could we find a cafe when we were down for a family event a few years ago!
Back home Thurs night after a bumpy boat ride Thurs night, a bit of a seasickness hangover yesterday!
Guess I'll be taking a break from here for a few weeks as have bit of a recurrence of running injury - which will settle but take time. Boo! Anyhow lots of nice walks with and without baby while away and a couple of snowy ones yesterday. Still flurries of snow today but nice between showers.
Chick - you seem to be getting on well now!
Ale - glad to hear you're running again.
Everyone else seems to be doing loads! Wabo - enjoy the race. My fave race ever was the 10m round Durness mixed terrain race, so scenic! Alas no more and while I guess could run a lot of the route still I think some of it was with permission of landowners.
    Have a good day all.
Still no sign of LMH and Chamolk.

Quite a few cafes now, Els!
    Snow has just stopped.
Half an hour of Pilates d&d.

Hope the injury clears up quickly, Els! And keep posting even when you can't run!

Yes, would be good to see LMH, Chamolk and others post!

Nice albeit snowy day. First (slow) run this month, up and down Wideford Hill.
    Missing my cuddle friend. :'(

    Afternoon!

Timed my run well as it is now sleet and snow again! Just a couple of Kms.

Yes, I always seem to be at the optician for ages, Wabo. Probably a good thing to have avoided 10 miles xc!

Well done on the run, OH, but a shame about the cuddles!

Els and OH: Good you're back home. And I bet you miss the cute little one.

Sorry to hear you're injured, Els. Hope it's not going to affect you for too long.

Shame you missed your race, wabo.

Well done in the double yesterday, Dustin.

Well done on the pub walk, Ale.

    Nice bit of speedwork, Hazel

Feeling really sorry for the Queen. 73 years of marriage. Wow.

7 miles today. Yep. I felt great and really worked on leg turnover. Still took me 90 mins but I did work up a decent sweat. Followed by 45 mins of s&c and 30 mins of yoga. I WILL get fit again 💪🏻
