Broken collarbone and getting back to it.

Anyone any experience of breaking their clavicle, and when they could return to running? Just harvesting thoughts to while away my recovery....

Bikes are evil.

I can agree bikes can be evil, broke my pubic rami (in two places) nine weeks ago thanks to my bicycle.

I am back running. My advice? Find a physio who understands sports people (mine is a marathon runner) and then do absolutely everything they tell you. Nothing more, nothing less. Bones heal in about six weeks, it's the muscles which can take the time to respond so the earlier you can start the sooner you can be back running.

    Good luck!
