Morning!
Lyrics: L.A proved too much for the man
(Too much for the man)
(He couldn't make it)
So, he's leaving the life he's come to know
Back later.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Fingers crossed for results and a way forward today Ale.
Yesterday's lyrics were Letter from America by The Proclaimers
Miami to Canada could be a good ultra indeed Pammie. I think you like a read? Have you read Flanagan's Run by Tom McNab? Nice novel about an ultra across the USA in the Great Depression.
Hometrainer = exercise bike Chamolk. Nothing fancy - no Zwift or such like - just get on and peddle. Nice post HM running by yourself. Fingers crossed for bagging the daytime working hours.
Don't get blown away today Els.
Good mileage again yesterday Chicksta.
What: few miles, hopefully in company
Why: Tuesday
Last rest: 25.02.2024
Lyrics: familiar
Not blown away but sandblasted going by the beach Hazel, just a 5 miler, that's probably it unless I do a couple of miles tomorrow. Embarrassed to be phoned by the race organiser yesterday while in middle of clinic, you can either register at start end or at finish and get bused to the start for the ultra, I'd managed to tick both boxes, oops. Gonna start from start end, another half hour in bed I reckon!
Making soup and scones then going to yoga.
Hope you get some useful advice Ale and it's not too long till you're on the road again.
Fingers crossed for you ale
Els sounds like a good plan!!
Hazel enjoy the company run
Lyrics yes
What just over a mile
Why cough has developed so I'm being careful
Last hard Sunday to be fair
Last rest 28 12 22
Hazel - hope you find company
Els - busy day, we've all been there with form filling (and entering the same race twice...)
Wabo - keep it easy
What - club session: 5 x 600 @ 3k pace , 200 recovs
Why - Vo2 max session
last rest - 21/09
last hard - ^^ this may hurt a little
lyric - possibly
So...not sure how much further forward I am; scan has revealed a 6cm tear of the semimembranosus hamstring, approximately 5cm from the origin. My friendly consultant has referred me onwards to a hamstring specialist and hopefully I will have a further consultation in the near future.
Dustin: I'd rather say this might hurt a lot
I'd also pick more time in bed, Els!
Have fun at the social outing, Hazel.
Take it easy, Wabo.
Nothing fancy to report here - just a 10k plod on a windy day.
