If your're reading this message, chances are that you're online and a possible target for the SASSER WORM VIRUS (not a hoax, check ceefax page 124). Please make sure that you have visited the microsoft web site as there are critical updates to be downloaded. Symptons? your computer shows an error message and reboots itself.(even the coastguard got hit!)
Make sure your updates are current and you have a firewall cos this virus is a pain in the butt to get rid of!!!! (spent most of the day getting rid of it!)

And I'm not at risk apparently cos I've never got around to upgrading from Windows 98. Got a firewall and regularly updated anti-virus stuff too though.

i got the thing even with updated anti virus software, got rid of it now but was a pain in the back side.

yes - bear in mind it's not an email worm. firewall yourself in and seal the door.

It's a worm not a virus. Virus attack email and worms the internet. Just for info. Hope I don't get it.
