All,
Does anyone know of any good software or websites etc to find running routes in a particular area. My brother has told me of a bit of software he got free with runners world once, which basically tracks your mileage by scanning a map image into the software. Obviously the more expensive option is to use GPRS. Anyone use this and can give me prices, guides, shops to get them from.

Accuroute is the software you're talking about Ben, I've used that and it's pretty good, as long as you can find online maps of your area (I used multimap.com to download them; streetmap.com doesn't work).
I also have an SDM which uses GPS - it's really good and I love it, but it doesn't help you planning routes, only tells you how far/fast you're running.
