As a rule-of-thumb, should I be running my 5K/20 minute tempo runs at a breathing rate of 2-2, or 2-1?
I have a feeling that I'm cruising a little at the moment - the speed I'm running at is dictated by an old 10K time, and I may have got fitter in the meantime!
Any feedback appreciated

I don't usualy train by counting my breathing, do you have access to a track or an accuratly measured course?
