Camberwell/Oval

Hi there

If anyone know of a running club in or near the Camberwell/Oval/Kennington area of London, can you please post a message with the details?

Or if there are any runners who would like to join up on runs in evenings/week ends please give me a shout.

Ive looked around various sources but there doesnt appear to be anything out there as far as clubs go. I can but try.

I'd suggest Dulwich Runners (close to Herne Hill Station) are the closest running club.

You might also want to try Herne Hill Harriers in Tooting Bec.

So the Dulwich runners are in Herne Hill and the Herne Hill club is in Tooting Bec? No wonder I always get lost on long runs.
Nosh, those are the only two club i know of as well. I don't think Oval/ Camberwell have enough green space for a club as they seem to centre around commons and parks. I just run to or from work and wave at all the runners who are out at the same time.

Nosh - maybe you should start something. I'm near the Oval and would appreciate something closer than Herne Hill or Tooting.

Serpentine are Central but there are no clubs in that area apart from the two already mentioned though thinking about it Cambridge Harriers are I think Lewisham based

Thank for the response.

I don't think I will be joining those running clubs though -I was looking for a club based near me. Thanks all the same though.

If anyone is interested in joining up for runs in/from the Kennington/Oval area, I am more than happy to discuss/arrange and see how it goes.
