Over-pronating hill runner

I'm told I overpronate and a pair of Mizuno Wave Alchemy seem to help on the road. I still have a problem on the longer hill runs (80mins plus) though. I wear insoles in Walshes but still the outer knee pain arrives. This month's RW recommends Brooks Trespass but does anyone know if they will cope with scree, bare rock and deep mud?
