Hippo, thanks for that recipe. It does look very delicious. Mr RC has his work Christmas do some time soon so I'll be home alone and may well make it then. I can't when he's here because we are officially a Veggie Household and he still thinks fish are sentient. Silly man.
(Apologies to WP)
Tiger, my x-country was at Wormwood Scrubs and I got well and truly beat by tons of people who I used to beat. I think they were just taking it too seriously and should lighten up.
Great recipe, Hippo, I've sent it to myself. What would you do if you were going to use salmon fillet? Would you pach it first and then layer it or layer it raw and let it cook in the oven? I only ask because BD doesn't really like smoked salmon.
Then again, if Mr ratty thinks that fish are sentient and BD doesn't like smoked salmon, I could cook it for Ratty and myself, when they were both out:-)))
<<Piles the table high with, sossies (veggie and porky), bacon, mushrooms, poached eggs, mushrooms, hot buttered toast and freshly squeezed orange juice>>
I shall try the salmon thing later today, cos Sains have smoked salmon half price now. (I fall into the eating fish but not birds or mammals category, whatever that's called . . . . "confused and wooly", ah yes, thats it)
I've had a "run". Not a very long one, but it was quite hard. And wet. And some ramblers were in my way, strung out across the road. And I coughed and sneezed.
Hour and a half in the woods wiv the girlies and the geriatric
no aches yet but watch this space
Wacks grumpy Jj with string of anchovies to cheer her up, sidles gently wound wabbit in case wabbits have memories bigger than heffelumps and nicks the loofah off mercury just in case the 'lil leopard is geting wrinkly by still being in the tub smiles seductively at Hippo ;-))))) Hi ratty, surprised they didnt leep you in the scrubs dear.
I was just thinking they might have lept me without my noticing!
Aborted this morning's run halfway through because it wasn't working and had tea and cake in the park instead. I still can't decide if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

Hipps, sorry to hear you also had a miserable run. Crunchy roast tatties are a defo defo.
Wouldn't the steaks be nice just grilled? With some roast onion as well? Obviously not my area but my mouth is watering thinking about it.
Insecure, hippo? No, no, no! You've got so much NOT to be insecure about. Bet most of the people you were running with haven't achieved one iota as much as you have in running.
