Next week its looking increasingly like I might actually get the week off I promised myself in September - Now I'm looking for recommendations as to how to fill the time!
Definitely on the list is a run to the top of the "Feldberg", this is a mountain or rather large hill that from my house (at about 300 metres) climbs to just over 900 metres - at this time of year there a reasonable chance it'll be covered in snow.
But what else should be on my list for a (Lazy?) week off?

.......I'll get me coat.
Try some lazy days - stay in bed late and read a good book, book a massage, spend some time in a sauna. Take some time to go for a few easy runs,no pushing, enjoy the countryside, the clean air, streeeetch! Try some different exotic foods. I think there is some snow now? Go back to childhood and help some local kids to build a snowman. Above all, have a fun week.
Catch up with old friends, that's always fun.
Week before last had my week off in Cyprus.
Sitting in the sun, reading some books, sipping cold beers and yelling at the kids to stop splashing/drowning/fighting with the other kids.
Came back refreshed and ready to run (and run and run).
1. Children can't take break from school.
2. Want to buy a new kitchen so no cash available.
3. MrsH's 40th in February so even less cash available.
4. Christmas coming and....errrr....no cash.........etc.etc.
