Hi Glen, to echo my fellow club members, well done on finishing the run.

Those hills is why I was a marshall and not running.

Put Rother Valley 10K in your diary for next year if you want a flat race.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement - i picked Bestwood as it was the next most convenient race on the calendar and i was keen!.
It was only afterwards that i learned it was difficult and in the leading few weeks tried to put a few hills into my runs.
I'm now at the stage where i can get up them, but not very quickly!!.
I'll look out for some flatter 10K's to see where my PB will settle at (i'll look out for the Rother Valley race), but i'll be back at Bestwood next year.

For a flat 10k try Silverstone 10k . Twice around the track. Has a field of about 800.
