Any Advice?

i've been running since primary school and i'm now at college, i represent the air training corps 1507 and run for a team (Derwentside) i am about to run my first marathon next year is their any advice any 1 can give me?

The most useful marathon tip I have been given is as you approach the finishing line, look carefully at who is around you. That finishing photo is going to be on your wall for the rest of your life - you don't want it showing you being outsprinted by a womble.

Sorry John: fascetious reply was caused by the fact that a Marathon is a distant and unlikely goal for me!

(My husband says don't pee into the wind is his advice.)
