Aqua sprinting

Hi

Can anyone tell me the right way to do aqua sprinting. They have them at our gym but I'm not sure the correct way to use it. Do you run so that your feet are touching the bottom of the pool or not? Do you keep your body as "upright" as possible like when you're running or lean forward more like when you're swimming? They've also got the "weights" for the hands that I was using as well. Is this a good idea or not? I know the best way is to get out and run but I do shift work and always go for a half hour swim after a nightshift to help me sleep and thought I would be able to train for a marathon better if I did aqua sprinting rather than swimming.
