I've phoned the helpline today and cannot find my hubby on either the acceptance or rejection lists. His cheque has been cashed and we're in no mans land at the moment. Grrrr!

I think that deserves a place anyway, what a c**k up, and cheek, they take your money on a bequeath and you get neither fleece or place.

They've asked me to fax through the bank statement showing that the cheque was cleared. It would be nice to know as training starts very soon. Ho, hum.
