Getting it cheap!

I've not been running long and now want to buy some 'proper' running gear, particularly cold weather stuff.

Do any of the suppliers on the internet have a January sale? And am I likely to be able to get what I need if they do (Women's size 10)?

I've already been and scoured the high street (sports shops, M&S etc. etc.), but it all seemed to be large sizes.

Can I get the lycra-look without breaking the bank?

yes yes and yes - you will have to trawl the sites - i was vittual shopping on Newyears day - if you have a RW mag -theres a few sites that are not mentioned here =up their on the right--

so go and virtually rummag i am sure you will find stuuff

i think sweatshop has a clearance
sportshoes unlimited always do and they have lots of small womens fitness gear

up and running in yorkshire and the rest

Marks & Sparks (my local branch, anyway, in Reading) have huge reductions on their View From kit. Example: bought myself a nifty gilet today, knocked down from £32 to £12. Technical T-shirts reduced from about £20 to about a tenner, if I recall.
