Training Session - Sunday 5 January
Mike, your action against the dog has surely earned you a place in runners' heaven, and on its own makes your long run worthwhile!
Sorry you didn't get any decent views, anyway, that's the hard work done, what you doing next weekend?
Mike-what a place to run, I envy you......
And quality for kneeing the mutt......respect
What : Tadley x-c meeting - Run as a guest.
5.3 miles same course as their Pre Christmas run when I ran 37.12.
Felt a bit ropey overnight, not sure I'm 100% over the Christmas week bugs, but felt fine after the warmup but made a decision to run sensibly....
Fields frozen solid, woods carved up and boggy, streams deep and freezing.Still managed a steady pace and managed to creep my way up the field and finished 59th male in 40.04.
All in all quite pleased.
Who won the Tadley Dustin?
Dunno, I'll go and check the results on their website.
Might have to think of joining a team to get into this x-c more regularly next winter....
