Pix when you find balance in the water, kick drills are quite doable with just your arms held in fronto of you
the use of a kick board actuly puts your body out of balance by lifting your front end thus lowering your back end ... thus not being flat and streamline in the water
At TI the only drills tool they use is Fist Gloves
Will, that sounds like a nasty bout of food poisoning.... I always find that once my body has got shot of whatever hasn't agreed with it, I feel ok again pretty quickly.
But if you've lost 3.5 pounds you need to rehydrate like mad.
Of course, you know this already.
My mrs has started putting chocolate cake in my lunchbox.... I think she's annoyed that by simply cutting down on the calories I'm eating, I'm losing body fat. And she's subconsciously trying to stop me....

This is achived by: -
- Swimming flat
- known your balance (or sweet spot os they say in TI)
- looking straight down while swiming
- correct hand / arm entry
etc
Food diary should be a nice one to start with - relatively simple but a few challenges )

Last hard session last night before an easy week next week. And I think I've done something narsty to my left quad.
Hopefully it'll pass with plenty of stretching... Don't think sitting on my work chair is helping much tho. Think I'll wander into town for lunch...
