Hi
Is anyone training for the FLM in the Urmston/ Flixton area of Manchester that knows any decent 10/12 or 14 mile runs in that area? I am getting a bit board with plodding the same old circuit week in week out. The only variation I have is iether races or the dreaded treadmill.

We're going on a run, (when I say 'we' I mean Spenny, Wolfy and Psychodiscokid..I'll be segmenting the oranges due to injury), 18th Jan around the Alti area, about a 8-9 miler I think & you're welcome to join us.
I just plod the streets myself when I'm not injured. Around Lymm & Dunham isn't bad. Yoshi's from Urmston I think and would have a better idea than me. Where are you Yoshi?????
Are you coming to our night out on sat? 6pm @ Norwegian Bar, Printworks.
Good to know there are other local chaps around that run, I have done a 7.5 miler with Psychodiscokid before Christmas on my usual circuit and would love to join up and run with some of you. Unfortunately I am doing the four villages at Helsby on the 19th Jan so I will have to turn you down on that offer for Jan18,let me know when you are going again.

I Usually head out down Canterbury road, under the motorway subway, on down to sevenways island, back down Bradfield road. Head off up Winchester road, onto Moorside road past the golf course up to Flixton. Then back down Davyhulme road to the nags head (risk life and limb crosing croftsbank road), then back down Canterbury road and home.
Its about 7 and a half(ish)and takes me about 55/56 mins.

Heading off to sunny Tenerife on 24th though, hopefully I will get a few miles in there. I would definetly like to meet up with some of you chaps for a few miles.
