Running watches

I'm shopping for a watch for a friend who seems to be allergic to most of the metals used in watches. Does anyone know of a watch that has a plastic back?

Suunto Adviser... for £200! BUt it also has a HRM and an altimeter...

I don't know of any others, so worth carrying on looking. It does have metal screws in the back

My Polar HRM has a plastic back.

IF you can't get a plastic backed one, I usually paint the back of the watch with clear nail varnish - gives a layer between metal and skin and stops the rash. Works for me, and might be a lot cheaper than buying a new watch.

Did get some strange looks at the cosmetic counter asking for clear waterproof nail varnish:-))
