afternoon
cause of all this bad weather interuppting my running, i've decided to give skipping a go (someone on here mentioned it was a good alternative for burning fat).
so i was wondering if anyone out there knew how long i'd have to skip to approximate a 40minute run?
any help would be appreciated

spin class? not heard of that, what does that involve? (spinning in a class? ;-)

Stationary bikes - with a great big flywheel on. You just clip in and go. Very high cadence most of it, and gives you a great workout. Instructor reckoned about 800 calories an hour. Sounded about right to me !
Local leisure centres run these classes or gyms. Have fun !
