I managed to get a last minute golden bond place yesterday so am now training in earnest!!

I ran the FLM in 2001 and was lucky enough to find someone of the same speed to run with all the way on the day - we even chatted as we ran. so - i know this is a long shot, but is Julia out there??!! and if you aer, are you running again????

Kate - what pace did you run at last time ? I'm sure we can find other runners at your pace (some of whom might even enjoy pretending to be Julia !)

Kate - if your looking for a new training runner - have a butchers at badlytrainedmonkey.com - found a running partner on there - and we're going out for our first 14 miles on Sunday !! :-)

Our official finish time was about 5.30 - but cutting out the 20 minutes to cross the line and the 7 minute queue for the toilet (!) it's a bit more respectable!!
I knew it was a long shot, but worth a try as we kept each other going!!
If there is anyone who thinks they could be my new Julia, pls shout! Pace likely to be very similar this time round I think!!
