Took me ages to find this again! LOL.. I should have booked amrked it

Unfortunatley this week I've found another infection, the Dr says it's a "stitch absess"... isnt very nice cos you cant see anything on the outside - is all on the inside

I've been feeling very scared about it and what it might develop into.. luckily I am at the surgeon's on Monday so will get them to check it out and advise.. the Dr was good but they are the specialist arnt they

Did any of you have this infection?

I'm just feeling very panicky

A right bummer as well cos I was all set for getting back into low jogs next week... dont think that will happen for a while now

Been to see the consultant today... she is very pleased with everything - even the infection!! Although she was a bit suprised that I'd had three lot's - she thinks that the initial one mabey didnt clear properly and then lead to the other two.. anyhow she said that the rest of the tissue feels as it should and was really really pleased with how things are at the moment

She's given me the ok to start running in two weeks as long as this teeny wounds closed up again

So I am feeling much much better about it all today.. was quite a relief to get the news that the infection isnt a real nasty one and you can see it's already responding to the anti b's

The return to running is a right bonus - I cant wait to get back - only small one's pre chrimbo but I am like a coiled spring so small runs will do!!

I had this op about 8yrs ago now.  It completely changed my life.  I am sure that because of the constant pain in my back and neck (caused by the weight of my horrible, floppy and saggy, H/I cup breasts) I would have had to give up work and be on the sick (and miserableand sweaty) for the rest of my life.  The physio that was trying to help before my op said that I only had 15% of the movement I should have in my back.  I couldn't do any excercise at all, although I did manage to cycle a bit.  I lost weight and they didn't get any smaller at all.

The op wasn't painful, however having the drains removed was (I think they left them in too long). 

I had the op and I had much smaller, firmer, perky breasts.  The swelling took 6 months to really go down.  They have got a bit bigger since the op, but now I can run (which I couldn't do since I was about 10 yrs old) and I can buy bras that fit.  The scars are hardly noticable.  My only regret is that I didn't go back to have my "corners" trimmed because I was too scared of having them done under local anaesthetic.

I would recommend having it done to anyone considering it.

I hadn't anticipated hormonal effects, but surely we already knew how viruses and bacteria are becoming increasingly drug resistant (often because of overuse /improper use of antibiotics). So how have they been allowed to market these antibacterial products for such unimportant unnecessary tasks as routinely washing your hands or cleaning your worktops? Inexplicable.

So how have they been allowed to market these antibacterial products for such unimportant unnecessary tasks as routinely washing your hands or cleaning your worktops?
