Any body else having problems with their Polar IR USB connector?
Mine was working fine for quite a while, but now won't transmit the data from the watch to my PC. And, when I disconnect the USB, it makes my computer crash.
I've emailed Polar but had no response after a week.
If anybody's had similar experiences I'd appreciate knowing how you fixed it!
(Using Win XP, Polar software 4.03.041, S610i watch)

You will need to register though.
and download the latest drivers from the Polar site before you re-install
I had a problem where my IR device was conflicting with the cable modem - you had to do some jiggery with plugging in the IR device, and then the cable modem.
Is not an issue now we have wireless, but it could be something like that - a conflict.
Then this evening the battery warning symbol has appeared on the watch. Maybe that's the problem.
If changing the battery doesn't solve the problem, I'll try giving Polar a call - their email response time is very slow!
And, changing the watch battery has solved the other problem of files not transferring.
No excuses now ...
