its already happened mate - my bro was taking the piss out his missus 2 days ago for screaming at them so i know they have hit arnos grove area already
sorry mate but why did you douse them?? they don't do any harm and it's only for one day as they fly off to form more colonies or act as bird/fish food
Just think of all those starving little baby birds that will have to go without their dinner tonight........well as ants are full of formic acid, very few birds would eat them anyway, but!!!!
Couple just emerging tonight, I think it's tomorrow in sunny Surrey! I am too old to play "Die Another Day" with a magnifying glass, but I bet the kids are out there.

Me and my sis doused them because they were swarming in the spare bedroom!

I think flying ants don't have the formic acid as they're queens in waiting?? could be wrong there though
the fish in the marina where I live (grey mullet mainly) don't mind them though - they're swarming the surface after them
Actually birds LOVE flying ants http://societyofbiologyblog.org/gulls-flying-ant-day/
I inhaled 2 and spat out 1 during a bike and run .. no idea how they taste... and I'm not about to start chewing on them

Tomorrow is flying ant day in London (it's IOC approved!)
It's today!!!!!!
Off to register it and be a nerd
Today, in south Essex!
Today in Milton Keynes.
Soooo, the only question is, how do all the ants know which day to come out, do they post on Antbook?
