Ok this may seem a little weird but a mate of mine has told me the latest way to run is to do a mixture of foot strikes! He says that you land heel first on your strongest leg and then push off with the weaker leg with your midfoot...?!
What you guys think to this? I have no intention of chaning my gait but I just thought it was intriguing....

If you heel strike then you should roll your foot and push off mid or forefoot anyway, that's nothing new. Granted a lot of people don't - some midfoot strikers land and push off mid foot however if you watch videos for forefoot striking then you land forefoot, bring the heel down roll the foot and push off forefoot.
