Whilst it's pouring down outside, I'm wondering what else I should have to gear-wise to make a more comfortable run in the rain. I have a jacket, and will probably wear a non-waterproof cap to shield some of the rain from my face. What else do people wear or recomment?

as little as i can get away with and still be warm, wet clothes stay wet and heavy, i usually wear something like a 2nd skin wicking baselayer, body heat is enough to stop it getting too wet usually, and they dont get heavy.
Just normal stuff plus jacket. If it's going to be a LSR in the rain, nipple protection essential, as I found out to my cost in the summer!
Other than a jacket usually just my skins tights as they are thin and clingy so don't hold water!!!
Just a baselayer and my jacket, plus a beanie. Easily overheat so tend to lose the beanie after a few miles,
it depends on if its windy or cold and how long.............if its a short distance either my normal clothes or a lightweight jacket.....longer and colder conditions wouyld always get my montane DT out as it keep me dry...........
going to need it this weekend by the looks of it
In the short time i've been running i've used a katmandu longsleeve base layer (great for the cold) and my addidas tracksuit (those loud plastic ones....keeps you dry!) it's a cheap combo that keeps me warm and dry, without nipple problems (so far ) ...
H/H lifa if it's cold. Sorted.
usually, i wear nike free run+ to run. When it is rainy, i wear supra skytop iii to run. It is waterproof. People may said, it is uncomfortable to wear them. But in my experience, it is pretty comfortable to wear them when running.
T-shirt and shorts in summer.
Long-sleeve t-shirt, windproof gilet and shorts in winter.
Less is more when it rains!
I would normally wear a baselayer, normal running top then a jacket and running tights. Depending on the temperature, I will also wear a wolly hat and gloves.
as said it all depends
also, for me it can depend what my mood is ?
only time i realy make a change to my dress is for the extreme cold -
but have been known to for extreme heavy rain
i run normally to feel free, not to have extra layers on or feel closed in
