No real problems with that but would not agree with the judge if the "park" in question was a city/town/village park. Public nudity is not generally acceptable and there could be a high likelihood of being seen..
However if the park was a national country park like we have in the UK and given the time of day and location being seen was just unfortunate, I would congratulate the judge for using good sense.
Of course the offended party may not see it that way but the opposite is also true. It might give anyone cause for concern meeting 'a fully clothed someone' unexpectedly wandering about at an unlikely time of day in a remote location.
I would, if I could. Don't see why not, my body's in great shape. Probably inisist on still using trainers, as going barefoot over stones is uncomfortable.
I suppose if there was a long run over several days in a isolated woodland/ prarie with a legal outing, then I'm up to it.
I entered the Naturist 5K earlier this year. Unfortunately I had also entered another event on the same day and had already paid upfront so to speak, so promised organisers I would give it another go in 2013 - when my body will be even saggier and baggier than it is now.
Jason.i was thinking that as well.as much as skinny dipping is lovely..yopur bits are all supported there.running around would cause havoc to the breasts.....
Re. chafing, I was also thinking that for people whose thighs rub together when they run, shorts wouldn't just be for modesty either! (NB. mine don't).
I fancy a Skinny-Tri next year 9th June naked bike ride day, 8th July Tything Barn 5k, 22nd Sept Druridge bay mass skinny dip. Might add to my list for 2013
I would never even think about whether to be offended by a naked runner.(I'd prob just ask them why they weren't doing it barefoot. There's an eccentric old chap lives near me who walks his dog all summer long wearing nothing more than blue budgie smugglers and a pair of sandals. I always feel a bit overdressed when I stop to chat to him...

I once met a guy running naked while i was out on a run . As he passed me he very politely said 'Do please excuse me. . ' and then carried on!

It's that old debate about whether nudity is inherently sexual again - which, of course, it's not - so good for him!
I wouldn't imagine it was particuarly practical for either sex though - human anatomy being what it is :-S
I would imagine it would probably hurt both parties? running about nuddy with no support
or is it just my crazy thoughts?

I wouldn't want a melanoma on my bits either...
I wonder if the woman who reported him was actually offended or just thought she ought to?

if you're allowed shoes (and presumably socks), perhaps they would let you run in just trainers and a sports bra, as a compromise?
That's what I was thinking. Possibly a strip of duct tape for the boobs. Is that allowed?
Indeed. After breastfeeding two kids, the thought of running with unsupported boobs sounds bloody agonising. And as to duct tape- bloody OUCH!
I've got a mate who emigrated to NZ some years ago and she does loads of naked cycling. Which also sounds mightily chafing to me.

Having tried a mass skinny dip earlier in the year I'm sure it it would be a real experience
might need a large roll of duct tape for some people,,,i fancy naked cycling apart from my boobs and belly would be down on the cross bar

Agree! No way I'd run without a sports bra.

ergo..love the idea of a naked tri.............with some tape...............might be the only time that my transition times are shorter than 10 mins
I'm sure there's no shortage of men who will provide support while you run, ladies...
Not sure the ladies will be making the same offer!
Seren, transition would be easy but for this one each transition is about 4 weeks, I'm going to give it a go
A definate no. Besides, most people look better in clothes.
Yes, but can they run as fast as me?
