I only started running outside on the 22nd of December so it's been very nice for me to see some light while running in the evening this week , even if it doesn't last long.... looking forward to it being light the whole way around!
I'm actually getting used to running in the colder and darker climate as I'm definitely not sweating as much nor getting as hot and bothered as I would in the summer and warming sunshine. I hope my body adjusts to the seasonal shift without too much of an effect on my performance!!
RunningKev, I had a simialr thought this morning when I got back from my run just after sunrise. And then realised, come BST in about a months time, I'll be plunged back into darkness for a few more weeks
PS Nice photo - I bet you got a nice view of North Gower from there today!
On average light shifts by about 3 minutes a day at this latitude, I used to work in artic Norway quite a bit years ago and it was about 7 minutes a day there, bloody brilliant in the summer, bloody miserable in the winter
I just want it to warm the f*ck up. I'm sick of wearing winter clothes
Same here! I don't mind running in the dark, although evening tempo runs will be easier cos I'm less likely to be scaring the bejeesus out of unsuspecting pedestrians with spatial awareness issues. And the park's open later.

Might have expected that! Indeed they are Dave! But Days (big D) are also confusingly split in to day (small d) and night!
Either way I know you get my point - Increasing durations of daylight didn't sound so catchy
