Hi,
I recently did my first half Marathon and got a time of 1:50. I am planning to do another one in the next 2 or 3 months and want to continue training, however i'm not sure what i should be doing in terms of training. I followed a plan off the internet for a begineer but can't find anything for a follow on. My aim is to get the time down to under 1:40 if possible. I was pretty tired on the day as my kids were up all night the night before and was just getting over a cold, therefore hope I am capable of this. If anyone could suggest what I should be doing then that would really help.
Forgot to add - i'm 32, 5"11 and 11 stone 14.
Thanks in advance
Matt

Use the mcmillan pace calculator to calculate your training paces:

I've used that programme too a few times to quite good effect. You could also try increasing the long runs in weeks 6 and 8 to 13 and 14-15 miles if you feel like it.
11 stone 14? Is that a euphemism for 12 stone?
Haha...sorry - meant 11:12 - wrong button on the keyboard.
Thanks for the info. Will try some of these out in the next couple of weeks.. really want to get the time down a bit.
