Well i survived a phone interview for the show, TV audition next week if I can get the day off work.... do I want to go through this and make a complete fool of myself on the very unlikely hope that I could win a bit of money.
Repeats are on BBC 1 at 3PM at the moment I think so can catch it on iplayer it's pretty much a true or false quizand trying to get it so if you have to have people select questions for you, they don't choose your worse category.
It's a bit weird... one of those shows where the prize goes up £1000 each day if no winner. So could be £1000 could be a decent bit more.
Hell... why not? If you fancy doing it, then do it. Most people, myself included, don't do enough in this life.
If you get some questions wrong, well so do most people. And the worst that can happen is if you get easy questions wrong - in which case you end up with an bit of a story to tell over dinner.
Many many many years ago I was on a quiz called Masterteam, hosted by Angela Rippon. My scout group was up against some adult 'professional' quizzers. We were lambs to the slaughter.
I actually watched the end of this for the first time this afternoon. I didn't know the answers to quite a few of the questions! But what's the worst that can happen? As long as your prepared to enjoy it even if you walk away with nothing, you could get lucky.

Sounds cruel - we need more quiz programmes like that

Good luck!
if you make a fool of yourself you can always console yourself with the fact no-one will see you.

I'll let you know how awfully the trial goes!
Fingers crossed, as it's at worse a 1 in 64 change of anything between 1-18k and each answer I know out of the six final questions halves the odds.
