chris - no I haven't had one, to be honest when I bought the bike they set it up for me and I haven't had any problems. I know a tri coach who has started doing them in Newark, but I would advise against going to her as she doesn't acutally have much experience of them and doesn't actually know that much about bikes! She is a nice woman, I just wouldn't pay her nearly £200 for something that I don't think she is going to be that good at
do you need to strengthen up your core and lower back a bit?
I think my core is quite strong as I do weights on my abs at least once a week, my lower back may need strengthening. Maybe I have one leg longer than the other
I have had a bike fit done, I needed it ... I also keep up with core exercises and general gym work so that the first bit wasnt a waste of money Fair enough if you can do it from watching a video but I am not sure I could
I can't even change brake blokes or mend a broken chain.........I even struglle witha puncture........and not sure how I should even clean my bike.....
tellinmg me to watch a utube video to set up mu bike is not going to help me is it..
it won't help with my crap flexibility.my dodgy right shoulder or my dodgy right knee.
I have a long time lower back problem as well......
but i can rider 100 or more miles without any problems or soreness.............so to me it is worth the £100......otherwise the £1000 on the bike would be wasted if i was too sore to ride it
Chris - for Retul money you could try the guy I mentioned over the page - he does get good reviews from those who have - assuming your name indicates you are in Nottm he's not a million miles away - look for cadencesport.

I am now imagining you laying around with weights on your abs!! My core is rubbish, but I am trying to improve that
Your core is not just your abs ... what is your flexibility like back wise??

Hi Melds,
I think my flexibility is pretty bad tbh, I don't do nearly enough stretching. Do you have any good excercises for core?
I had a washer on the end of a shoelace measuring angles and drop of knee to foot. It sounds daft but it improved a little after I had done it.
Please try not to get turned into a toad, we need you at Outlaw '14
