CD, there's also good old 'Geoffrey's' uncoverd pitches so the strip will be juicy! I played on one such pitch during the first League game this season and had figures of 8.4 overs, 2 maidens, 8 wickets for 13! All caught out and 7 behind the stumps!!
Perhaps Mrs. Foo should be employed behind the stumps rather than keeping score?
Finally bowled for 811, ended up being beaten by a jaffa from the lads grandad.
This was in the end the sixth different bowler they brought on.
The boys closed the day 238 for 0, played very well but fully expect the sunshine to aid my reverse swing bowling.
I set numerous world records in my innings, including highest ever score, most fours, most runs scored off one ball (39) when the ball got stuck on garage roof.

This is the most funny thing I think I've ever read.
Sorry Foo, is this from your back garden or the Oval that you're commentating from?!! Will you be bowling like Kerrigan and Stoakes or Broad and Anderson? How's the pitch wearing? Will it be taking 'turn' later or will you stick with seam as it becomes hotter and more humid later? We need to know!!
DROPPED CATCH!!! Possible game changing moment, diificult chance to my left, had to decide between taking the catch or smashing through my other neighbours fence.
Ok squeaky bum time now, both lads playing superbly. Hoping a glass of iron brew will give the necessary pick up to take wrestle the objective back in the after ion session.

Have you declared on your overnight score or will you be looking for your 600? The forecast isn't good, rain may yet save them.
And when the rain clears to leave warm, cloudy overhead conditions it'll be ideal for some swing bowling!
Good point Siggy, though in the absence of a slip cordon he'll be relying on getting one to nip back and trap them in front.
Is it just me or is anyone else reading Mr Foo's cricket report thinking of this

You need to get out more dear
Both of you
If he got out more, he wouldn't be setting landmark innings like 811...
Good morning from my back garden on what promises to be an enthralling days crickets.
A quick recap on the last three days.
I won the toss and batted scoring 529 in the process.
I then bowled my neighbours boys (4 and 7) out for 136.
Rather then enforce the follow onI pressed home my advantage by batting again, finally falling for a world record 811.
After some fine batting from the boys they reached 238 for 0 at the close still requiring 1099 to win.

At what point can they take the new ball?

Ice bath?
Sounds like a new fence panel would have a cost worth paying!
