Hi
Can anyone recommend a good stand for an iPad/tablet for use when on a treadmill at home? I was thinking a floor stand might be better as I thought this might isolate the screen from any treadmill vibration.
Does anyone use an iPad while on the treadmill? Any thoughts on whether it's okay to bolt one of the desk mount types onto the treadmill frame? Or is floor a stand the way to go?
Many Thanks

The .Joy Factory make some decent quality stands/mounts although they are a bit pricey. I use one for mounting an ipad direct to an indoor rower. It depends on how much vibration there is on the treadmill. My gym has tv screens on their treadmills, but there is very little vibration due to them being heavy duty machines.
We've been looking into this but were thinking down the lines of some sort of wall mounted bracket for the ipad.
Joy factory looks interesting thank you.
Treadmill is in front of a window so not sure a wall mount will work for me. Unless it could be screwed into the window frame. I shall look into that.
Thanks
If you have you any room infront can you use a music stand? You can get those pretty cheap.
highskies - if it's in front of a window, have you thought about getting a windscreen mount version? Something like this:

Not sure I'd like to be driving around with an ipad mounted to my windscreen mind!
Put the camera on and it will be like its not even there.
I have a wall mounted shelf behind mine with a TV and a dvd player mounted on it. It works well.
I've also used a music stand for both my treadmill and my bike turbo, which was also OK, but obviously couldn't hold larger items. I like the shelf as it allows you to put other things there such as a towel and a drink if you want to.
I guess it all depends upon where your treadmill is located.
Ha, not sure I can run with an ipad in front of me let alone drive with one!
Lots of ideas, thanks. This is going to be harder than I thought.
I also found a DIY hanger on youtube:

Wow, that looks great.
Even more awesome is Ant+ iPad connector, through I'm not sure I can be bothered to video a route so I can relive it on the treadmill!
iKlip - just what I need, thanks.
