i really must learn how to read
You probably missed the thread, its likely a few pages back by now
If I survive ironman UK, I hope to travel for my second ironman & PSOF champs in Austria sounds scenic
Ohh shall we start discussing 2016 now?
No IM for me next year probably gonna move house
I thought it was RFL in 2016?
Will see how I get on at Vichy but would love to sail with the ship if I possibly can!
Not playing in the IM world for 2015.....
15.5 weeks to save enough pennies to enter
FF why not?
We did have a family wedding abroad but that has gone, Decided it would be nice to train when i like and race some shorter stuff....i know i will regret this choice come xmas but gives me more options for 2016.
You could stil come out and support .. would be a good family holiday
isn't there a standard distance race as well as the IM, Melds?
Now theres a plan!!!!
I am not sure there is .. I think there was at Switzerland and one of the ones we did had relays at some stagethey are all a blur at my time of life
Wise move Pearson, wise move
Numpty questions:
1) Date of race (approximately)
2) Date that entries open, and close!
This would be my first overseas IM, and I have to get permission. Nice sounded nice, and if it was a week earlier it would have got the green light.
1) will probably be late June/early July'ish
2) opens day after current one finishes but you need very nimble fingers as it sells out VERY quickly (4-5mins)
fuck me Melds - if they are a blur to you, they're a closed book to me...
we won't be taking part but will probably come along for the craic - we liked Klaggers a lot as a location so will tie it in with a 'bago road trip
Trogs that's definitely a statement of intent.
FWIW Austria took roughly 12 hours to sell out last year (although by all accounts that is unusual). Very much looking forward to the recce this year
IM or Challange?

Eh? I think not, just a friendly heads up for those hoping to sail next year. Your calling this year a recce much more indicative of intent

Thanks. At least I should be on the correct website attempting to register
12 months worrying if it will be a non wetsuit swim...but I am still massively tempted
15 months or so to prepare
Austria has the *best* swim location IMO .... its just beautiful
Bounce
I have my Permission Slip from Mr NR
I am waiting to get the Outlaw in the bag before I broach the subject
