manually put them in Melds - even if its just for your own record keeping, at least you know how far you swam that month/year
where do I type my swimming in? the manual upload wants some kind of text file...can't I just type in 30 lengths - 18 minutes?
I have entered an activity manually when in the calendar section on the date involved, clicked and entered things manually, but not done swimming as I have a XT910 that is fine apart from a slight issue with elevations at present.
you dont go into manual upload you go to calendar - there you can go to the date and left click it - go to manual activity and a side bar comes up on the right hand side - from the pull down menu you can select your option - swimming- laps or OW swimming and enter all your data there.
CJ - it seems if you use the 910 in water the pressure sensor messes up and gives an incorrect elevation - something like 64000 ft iirc, mind did this too until i stopped swimming and after a few weeks it worked perfectly again. the lesson = stop swimming, it wastes too much time that could be spent running
and for those that dont know Garmin connect is going to be having a face lift soon with all singing /dancing features - being rolled out gradually i think so some might get it before others
Yes, I have changed my privacy setting from 'private' to 'connections and groups' though I haven't actually done anything to upload since changing the settings.
Maybe I need to clear my cache or try a different browser
If you use a few different sites you can use this https://tapiriik.com/ to synchronise the details so you only have to upload things once. It's made my life easier although I admit it seems odd to see swims on Strava!

I'm in - generally pay more attention to Strava but everything goes into Garmin first . . .

*waves* hello EcoSeal!
i've also joined yesterday (under lookoutkid as i think thedan had already been taken) now to feel sufficently rubbish at cycling!
I still remember EcoLime...she changed her name when she started swimming like a seal.
I have joined, guess I need to pay attention to all the things that garmin connect does now!
Do I need to change any of my settings to see something. When I click on to the Group link all I see is a blank page
I've started to notice that all you do is make excuses about your training.........
Are your privacy settings on connections and groups?

Hmm. I can see group activities in Chrome so looks like it's a Firefox problem. Anyone else use Firefox?
Firefox working fine for me here.
i ve joined i better do something now!
Right, annual Garmin data upload planned for the weekend. Knowing the speed at which Ant+ communicates the info, it may be available by April.
