Loads of different versions of this game but this version put simply, you ride your bike and record number of miles and amount of climbing done with the target being the height of Everest in the shortest number of miles each month.
For those interested, you would need to ride Box Hill 69 times to make top of Everest.
So starting today
June
Flat Footed 56miles 2,612ft

Who fancies some reps of Box Hill then? Of course I mean Pebble Hill way not the Zig Zag... way too flat.
Just reps of Pebble Hill woul do, you don't gain much height going round to Box Hill after that.
I'm not sure what the optimum gradient is for this though - the slope that gives the greatest rate of vertical gain. There must be a point where the slope is too steep to gain height quickly. I know my Edge can display rate of ascent but I've never paid much attention to it.
Just checked my last holiday in Majorca: 27,670 ft in 228.5 miles. If I add in elevation gained running I get to 31,106 in 254. Does that count as Everest in a week?
Skillz Dave...but no one likes a show of so start again.
TE - I do fancy having a go at doing it in one go at some point....byt as dave says what would be the best hill in the south to use?....I imagine something around 6-9% would be best for not destroying the legs to quickly.
