Pacesetter have just announced on FB that there's some cancellation places available if anyone is still looking - Mrs Paperman just grabbed one. It still says full on their website, but if you log in you'll find that you can enter.
good to see MC during the run and post finish - good luck in Nice MC (if you get there!)
Petal qualified for GB age groups (again) for the Euro champs in Geneva next year - she got 4th in a/g. I was 9th of 16 so quite pleased with that - had a good swim and bike but slow run - maybe some more run training would help!
Sorry to hear that, buttercup - wouldn't have been a great race to do in a single gear!
We both finished - I had hoped for better on swim, but got a good bike in. Was carrying a leg niggle that decided to attack at about 4K on the run, and spent the rest of the run lopsided and wincing, which explains the poor run time (and the comedic finishing photos!).
Mrs. Paperman was never looking forwards to the swim (only just moved up to front crawl) and was indeed last out of the water (from the last swim wave start), but hoovered up a few people on the bike and a few more on the run. Is now after more swim practice so that bit doesn't hassle her quite as much.
Good to see MC - didn't see anyone else in pirate colours, presumably because they were far enough in front of me. Good weather, good race.
Paperman - I think you were talking to MC and just left as I came up to talk to him having recently finished so we never got to meet. I was in club kit not pirate kit so you wouldn't have known who I was.

yep - me and Petal should be there again as she wants a GB slot for the European's next year in Geneva
Sweet I wont be the only one there then even if I am bringing up the rear
I'll be there too... won't be pushing it though as its the weekend before IM France!
One of us might try and sneak in if they have a few cancellations available - its just down the road for us.
Don't know if they'll have cancellations but support is always welcome
We're usually down there shouting local friends on, so we'll shout for you guys as well!
