There was no crawling at all last year - the nets aren't fixed tot he ground so they just get lifted up and passed over heads.

Have thought of a way of keeping our dignity and modesty intact whilst getting changed after the Grim. We could all bring our towelling robes to change into. That way, we get dry and warm, without having to try keeping a towel around ourselves.

Fraggle and EP, big fluffy slippers would be optional!

Just been for a plod across the course ground with my dogs. There is a lot more water than last year and the ground that isn't under water is very soft under foot. Deep joy!
On the matter of losing trainers in the mud, it might be a good idea to use an extra lace, pass it through the loop on the heel of the shoe then tie it off around your ankle. That should keep both lunatic and shoe together.
