Yep I'm in for the 100 after doing the 50 last year. No running at all in March and April but have done over 500 miles since then, although nothing over 27 miles and no major hill training!
Hoping to remain injury free as the niggles are building up!
Well done Andy. I finished my first 50, so also thrilled. It is a very tough, but amazing event!
Thought I might be in for a very bad day when I was throwing up at 13 miles in (at the top of Fusedale), but worked out it was a combination of heat and drinking too much too quickly at Howtown. 10 minutes sitting in the shade while dunking myself in a beck sorted me out and from then on I had a brilliant run. Loved it!

Good luck Ian. I'm in the 50 - very excited!
Think most of the chat is on the Facebook page, hence it doesn't get much traffic on the forums...

I don’t think they needed to add a werewolf to this event to make it harder!
24 C forecast has just made it harder!
Good luck to everyone. It looks a fantastic race.

This event is a nail biter, even from the perspective of watching your friends do it online!
Agreed - touch and go for one of my friends - creeping along from Kentmere at present - hope they get thru Ambleside OK.
Congratulations to everybody who is home safely, and good luck to everybody still out on the course!
Well done Andy
You could have picked an easier first 100 Andy!
The SDW 100 will feel like a kitten after this!
